Jesse W. Mosier is Chestnut Carbon’s General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to Chestnut, Jesse was the General Counsel of Pachama, where he led legal efforts to bring multiple projects to market and in the creation of innovative financing solutions. Before moving in-house, Jesse spent seven years at Cleary Gottlieb in its New York and São Paulo offices, and then two years at Gunderson Dettmer, in its San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices, working on a mix of corporate and financial transactions.

Jesse has a JD from Georgetown University, an MA in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and a BA from the Gallatin School at NYU.
