The Krusiecs have owned their farm in southern Wisconsin for 55 years, steadily restoring and improving the land. As members of Chestnut Forest Carbon Works, they work closely with our team to maintain the health and productivity of the land while ensuring its long-term sustainability for future generations.

We completed our fourth planting season in April, doubling our project footprint in the Southeast U.S. to roughly 70,000 acres of land restored. This was our largest planting operation to date, and one of the largest conducted in the U.S. this year.

Chestnut Carbon has been recognized by TIME as a Top U.S. GreenTech Company for the second consecutive year. This year, Chestnut climbed 72 spots on TIME’s list—and we’re honored to be the only nature‑based carbon capture company included.
