Henry Makansi is a Managing Partner at Kimmeridge. Previously, Henry had a decade of experience as a principal investor in private equity at Warburg Pincus, serving in a variety of roles including head of the European Energy Practice overseeing investments in exploration and production, oil services and alternative energy. He also has three years’ experience in M&A and capital markets with Lehman Brothers and GP Bullhound, a London investment bank.

Henry holds a master’s degree from Erasmus University, Rotterdam, in economic theory and mathematical economics. He also completed accredited master’s courses in game theory, macroeconomics, and international economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
