Shannon Smith is the Chief Commercial Officer for Chestnut Carbon. Ms. Smith leads sales and marketing for our Chestnut afforestation credit products as well as our Forest Carbon Works IFM program. Ms. Smith has 20 years of experience leading marketing across consumer and financial products, and most recently served as Chief Growth Officer for Dandelion Energy, a provider of residential geothermal home heating and cooling systems. Prior to Dandelion, Ms. Smith was the Senior Vice President of Marketing at OnDeck Capital. Ms. Smith worked as a McKinsey consultant in their NYC and San Francisco offices, as an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley in NYC, and has held leadership roles at consumer brands including J. Crew, Williams-Sonoma, and Sephora.

Ms. Smith received a B.A. from University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern.
