Vice President of Corporate DevelopmentJosh Yearout

Josh joins Kimmeridge with over a decade of experience in the institutional timberland investment sector. Prior to Kimmeridge, Josh served as Investment Forester for the International Woodland Company headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. After spending a year in Copenhagen, he returned to the U.S. wherein he established the first U.S. based office for the Timberland Manager Advisory (TMA) team. In this role, Josh was responsible for the assessment and advisory of a U.S. timberland portfolio valued in excess of USD 4 billion AuM. These investment vehicles included primary funds, co-investments, secondaries, and separate accounts.

Previously, Josh held various roles at Resource Management Service (RMS), an international timberland investment manager. These responsibilities included timberland acquisition and disposition analytics, forest inventory analysis, harvest scheduling and linear optimization, retail land sale valuations, and scenario analysis. Prior to RMS, Josh led timberland acquisition and disposition operations for an Atlanta based timberland investment manager. Josh began his career as a Forest Manager with Molpus Woodlands Group where he was responsible for overseeing and executing the timberland asset management function on over 90,000 acres of client timberlands in the Western Gulf region. Josh holds a B.S. in Environmental & Natural Resource Management and a Master of Forest Resources from Clemson University.
